Close to the beaches of Notre Dame de Monts, 2 local supermarkets at Beauvoir sur Mer, which is 6 miles away. A large garden set in 4 acres, of which, 1 acre is kept as lawn. A covered BBQ and seating area for those enjoyable evenings, sitting in the sun with a good bottle of wine. This area has the reputation of being the sunniest region after the Cote d'Azur with good weather enjoyed from April to late October

The area is a 2 hour drive from the port of St. Malo,
3.5 hours from Ouistream (Caen)
and 4.5 hrs from Cherbourg.
It is on the west coast of France. Picturesque La Rochelle and popular resorts such as La Tranche sur Mer and Les Sables D'Olonne close by.

Nearest Airports La Rochelle, & Nantes are served by most of the low cost airlines and car hire is available

The beaches of Notre Dame de Monts, 12 miles, a seaside village with the finest textured sand in the Vendee.

Saint Jean de Monts, 17 miles, a popular seaside resort with 8km of golden sand. Golf, sand yachting, tennis, riding and archery.

Arbre et Aventure at Paree Jesus, tree climbing / zip wires on circuits 1 to 12 metres above ground.

Pornic 23 miles, Chic seaside resort full of narrow lanes on a rocky coastline dominated by a fairy tale castle.

The area abounds with many attractions, some of which are "Autrefois Challans"…a fair on 4 days in July and August, the clock is turned back to 1910 and more than 1000 local people dress in the turn of the century clothing.

Karting Loisirs Challandais - Family orientated, 700 metre karting centre.

Planet Racing - Jet skiing and water rides, paint ball, cross county Karting and mini circuit for children's quad bikes.

Well located for a number of very high class competition standard golf courses , sailing, fishing, horse riding and karting all available nearby.

Many of the villages and towns have regular weekly markets where you can sample a wealth of local produce, freshly caught fish and a variety of shell fish
