You are 15 mins from the Mervent lake and forest and 15 mins drive is the larger town of Fontenay-le-Comte and has all the major stores and facilities you may require. You are also just 50 mins the port town of La Rochelle with its wonderful seafood restaurants, the marine aquarium is well worth a visit with the family.
