The glorious long sandy beaches of the Atlantic coast are just 40 mins away as well as the delightful port of La Rochelle that boasts probably some of the best seafood restaurants around and steeped in local history. This is an ideal centre for cyclists, ramblers, bird watchers and families of all ages.
