The house is situated
in the Vendee (85) region of Western France with the Atlantic on its Western
Coast, La Rochelle to the South and Nantes, the Loire valley and Brittany to the North.
The property is located near the Vouvant-Mervent forest on the borders of the Vendee and the Deux-Sevres. You have the pretty villages of Mervent and Vouvant nestled in the large surrounding forest and is crisscrossed with well marked routes for walking and cycling and copious secluded picnic areas. To the south east the protected area of the marais poitevin with picture postcard villages in the venice vert (green venice).The Vendeen atlantic coast has 225 km's of safe, award winning, long golden sandy beaches the nearest of which is approximately 40 mins by car. |
